Womb Imprints: Healing the Stories Before Birth

Trauma-Informed Therapist, Trainer & Coach
She came to me after years of doing sincere healing work.
Inner child therapy.
Family systems.
Ancestral work.
Nervous system practices.
And to be honest — she was improving.
She understood her patterns.
Her relationships were better.
She could name what was happening inside her.
But her body still wouldn’t settle.
“I’m always alert,” she said.
“Even when things are calm, I’m waiting for something to go wrong.”
Then she told me something important.
“In my work with another therapist,” she said,
“we acknowledged the baby my mother lost.
He was given a place in the family system.
That helped. I felt some relief.”
She paused.
“But my body never really relaxed.
I still feel like I don’t belong.”
That pause told me everything.
The family system had been addressed.
But no one had looked at what that loss did to the womb environment she grew in.
No one had asked:
What happens when a baby develops inside grief?
What does the nervous system learn before there are words?
Her work hadn’t stopped too early.
It had started too late.
Her story didn’t begin in childhood.
It didn’t even begin at conception.
It began in her mother’s body — before pregnancy —
in a womb already carrying loss, fear, and unfinished grief.
So when she arrived, her nervous system learned very early:
Stay alert.
Don’t relax.
Love can disappear.
This wasn’t something insight could fix.
And it wasn’t something system work alone could complete.
That moment changed how I understood healing.
I realized something clearly:
We cannot stop at giving the lost child a place in the family.
We must also work with how the living adapted inside the womb.
I went searching for this layer.
I studied.
I researched.
I trained.
But most approaches explained the imprint — without showing how to work with it safely in the body.
So I built what was missing.
I integrated womb memory work with nervous system regulation.
I slowed the process down.
I worked at the body’s pace — not the mind’s understanding.
And that’s when things began to shift.
Her body softened.
The constant alertness eased.
Rest stopped feeling dangerous.
Not because we tried harder —
but because we finally worked at the right layer.
This is the work I now teach inside the Womb Healing Practitioner Training.
Inside the training, you will learn:
- how to recognize and access 9 imprints
- how to work with them safely, without retraumatizing
- how to integrate nervous system work into womb healing
- how to know when not to push — and when to go deeper

This is not an add-on skill.
It’s a missing lens.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
