The healing that changed how she saw her child

Trauma-Informed Therapist, Trainer & Coach
She didn’t come for herself.
She came because of her child.
“I’ve read all the books,” she said.
“I’m patient. I’m present. I do the work.
And still… something feels blocked between us.”
There was love.
Deep love.
But also friction.
Moments where her child shut down, reacted strongly, or pulled away —
and she couldn’t understand why.
In her womb healing session, we didn’t talk about parenting.
We went back to her beginning.
To the life her body entered.
To the stress her mother carried quietly —
the worry, the holding together, the unspoken pressure to manage everything alone.
And as she felt that, something else became visible.
She saw the moments she had unknowingly passed on to her child.
The times she smiled while her body was tense.
The breath she held when she felt overwhelmed.
The way she stayed “strong” instead of letting herself soften.
The invisible message her nervous system sent — stay alert, stay careful, stay small.
Not through words.
Through presence.
And suddenly, her child made sense.
Not defiance.
Not oversensitivity.
Attunement.
A small body reading her cues perfectly.
After the session, she said quietly:
“I finally understand my child.
Not from my head.
From my body.”
In the weeks that followed, something shifted.
Less correcting.
More meeting.
Less effort.
More ease.
Her child didn’t change.
The space between them did.
This is the unseen power of womb healing.
When a mother releases what was never hers to carry,
her child no longer has to hold it either.
This is the depth we work at inside the Womb Healing Practitioner Training —
where we don’t just heal individuals,
we change how connection is felt and transmitted.
Because when the womb heals,
love flows differently forward.
